When our child nutrition volunteers first met 7-year-old Aarav in an informal settlement outside Jaipur, he weighed barely 14 kg — severely undernourished and suffering from recurring respiratory infections. His mother worked daily wages as a domestic helper and often skipped meals herself.

Through our Targeted Child Nutrition Seva, Aarav was enrolled in a supervised dietary rehabilitation program providing daily fortified porridge, fresh seasonal fruits, and essential multivitamins. Within 90 days of consistent nutrition, his weight increased to 19.5 kg, and his hemoglobin levels returned to normal.

Today, Aarav has proudly entered the 2nd grade, with his favorite subject being mathematics.
